Do I look a bit different to you? Perhaps a bit more cultured, more urbane, more…je n’est ce quoi? Well that just might be because I have just returned from a whirlwind 10 day European vacation!
This was the longest vacation T. and I have ever taken, and definitely the most adventurous. We visited Paris, Rome, Florence and Venice and literally loved every second of it! I mean the food, the people, the wine, the coffee, the history, the wine, the culture, the architecture…did I mention the wine? Honestly I could go on forever (and probably will, it was a very memorable trip), but we all know pictures are worth a thousand words. So without further ado, a glimpse into Jeanne’s European Vacation!
The Eiffel Tower of course (a required photo for all tourist)
I could totally pass for a Parisienne, I have my wine holding and casual “I know you’re looking at me, but I don’t care” vibe down to an art
What a view
No singing gargoyles, but still worth a visit
The “I know you’re looking but I don’t care” vibe also works on water!
Is that arc triumphant or what?
So many cute cafes, so little time
Still know, still don’t care. And yes, this skirt will make many more appearances, I am obsessed with it.
You may be ancient, but you still looking fine
Wishes were made (and granted)
Literally the Pope lives here, I cannot make a joke about it. Plus, look at it.
Apparently Rome is tropical? Who knew!
On the street where I want to live
Told ya there was wine…
Again, no jokes, just marveling
A bridge over not so troubled waters
Crazy hair don’t care. Also, we are annoyingly precious
St. Mark’s Square (I petitioned they rename it St. Jeanne, but they didn’t seem to agree that my contributions to the world were as laudable as Mark’s…whoever that dude is)
We weren’t in Venice long, but wow was it something
So there you have it, our amazing European tour. Adieu, Arrivederci and see you next time!
As always, linking with Carylee and the Hello Monday linkup gang!
