3 Girls 1 Event: Summer Weddings

Weddings2016

We all know the feeling. You open up that wedding invitation with its super high end paper and beautiful calligraphy (seriously, who knew your name could look so pretty all swirled like that), and you think “Open bar? Check. Delicious cake? Let’s do this. My choreographed dance to ‘Uptown Funk’ that has been perfected after hearing the song 1 zillion times? The world needs to know. But what the hell do I wear?”
Well, to answer that question, the ladies have teamed up to show you a few of their festive formal looks that are perfect for just such an occasion. And hey, if you need help with those dance moves, we just might be able to assist with that as well! (Oh wait, you don’t want to look like Chandler Bing on the dance floor? Well then maybe not so much.)

If you’re attending a more casual wedding, say on a beach or in a park (you know, outside places. AKA where you go to find Pokemon), Jess’s look is right up your alley. A maxi dress is a great way to keep your look easy breezy but still dressed to the nines. Add a few fun accessories and you are ready to eat, drink and fight to the death for the bouquet! (Oh wedding traditions. So fun, not at all demeaning…).

If perhaps your presence is requested at a slightly more dressy affair, you can try something like Jeanne’s look. Blush is a universally flattering wedding color (and not so light that it can be mistaken for white, quite the faux pas) and a more airy material is necessary for the hours you plan to spend dancing the night away (Chandlers though we may be, we never say no to a good boogie!).

Finally, should your event be more black tie, keep it slinky and classy like Emily does here. A vibrant color is always a great way to stand out amongst the pastels that somehow seem to be at every wedding (Really periwinkle? Really? Even your name is unbearable), and a fun neckline like this squared off beauty here can add a bit of personality to even the most classic of styles.

So no matter the venue, whether casual or fancy, we can guarantee with looks like these you will be the second best dressed at any wedding!
