As much as I like to consider myself a super chill, easy breezy, manic pixie dream type of girl, in reality, I can have a little trouble when it comes to giving in and going with the flow. I don’t know that I would say I was type A exactly, but my type is definitely on the front end of the alphabet (maybe B+?).
One of the places I can have the most trouble letting go of control is my outfit. As someone who believes very strongly in the power of clothes when it comes to telling the world who you are, I am not super willing to relinquish that power to someone else. But just this once (and trust me when I say once), I let someone else take the reins when it comes to my ensemble….and that someone was my loving husband, T.
I figured with all T. has been through as a blog/Instagram husband, he deserves a shot to express himself in front of the camera rather than just behind it (plus, it stands to reason that at this point, he’s learned a thing or two). And since dressing himself and actually appearing on the blog was not all that exciting to him, this seemed like the next best thing.
So voila, a wife dressed by her husband, together breaking all sorts of societal norms as well as my own personal rules. And I have to say, I don’t think he did half bad! Maybe I’ll open up my closet to more guest dressers in the future…yeah, probably not.
