I’ve never really been a purse girl. Like I own a few (though I also utilize T.’s roomy pockets whenever possible. Which begs the oft-asked question: When are they going to start making pants with actual usable pockets for women? #MillionDollarIdea), but I tend keep it to the basics and would never considering blowing real money on one.
I guess when all is said and done, I see my purse more as something to hold my wallet, cell phone, lipstick and gum and less as a finishing touch to an ensemble. And as okay with that as I am, I have also faced many occasions when I have put together the perfect outfit and wish I had that gorgeous coordinating bag to really complete the whole look.
So, in true Jeanne form, I am doing a complete 180. I have decided that I while I may never be a purse girl, there is nothing wrong with stepping out of my comfort zone a bit and bringing home a bag or two that is anything but basic. And if that decision leads to more looks like these, well so’s the better!
I am still hanging on to the dream of real pockets though…
