Once upon a time, there was a young adult type lady person who lived in a magical kingdom called Saint Louis (it’s french, you probably can’t pronounce it. Don’t feel bad! Most of the people who reside in the kingdom struggle with the language). This maiden delighted in frolicking through the kingdom’s many free attractions, rooting for the realm’s favorite band of red clad knights to best the teams of swarthy sea thieves and tiny bears who threatened the happiness of the people, and locking her car as soon as she was safely ensconced inside its sturdy doors (because let’s not be foolish about these things). But for all her (mostly, kinda-ish) carefree gallivanting, our lass had a problem. She was running out of fresh new places to seek out her one true love. You see, while some ladies dream wistfully of chocolate or lust after fancy handbags, our leading lady knew that she had found a sole mate in shoes. Over the years, she had amassed quite a collection (see here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here…), but she knew deep in her heart there was always another pair out there that required rescuing (like these glittery oxfords for example- thanks to fellow STL blogger Psyche of Economy of Style for the inspiration! ).
So, imagine our heroine’s excitement when she discovered that an excellent source of future foot friends could be found at a little place (or four) called Shoe Stop. Locally owned since 1978, Shoe Stop is a St. Louis lady’s place to find shoes that just scream “you”. With sizes that range from narrow to wide and sizes 4-13, the selection and prices are sure to please your entire crew (from the elfin to the Amazonian. #squadgoals). Don’t live in the 314? Have no fear! The guys at Shoe Stop have put together a little online store on Amazon so you too can partake in the magic (you didn’t really think I’d leave you hanging, did you?)! Now, let’s take another look at those shoes, shall we?
Thank you to Shoe Stop for sponsoring this post! All thoughts, opinions, and shenanigans are 100% my own.
